Eastern Cape Municiple Elections

Description:

The South African Municipal Elections held every five years for all districts and local municipalities will be held between May and June 2011 (date still to be announced by the IEC).

Voters need to be at least 18 years, a South African citizen and in possession of a bar-coded ID or a valid temporary ID.

Residents can register if they are at least 16 years, first time voters or have moved since the last elections.
