CKI FM is targeted at the young, urban and upmarket African listeners aged 16 - 34 years. CKI which stands for Ciskei one of the former homelands broadcast over areas such as Bhisho, East London, King Williams Town, Queenstown, Idutywa, Sutterheim, Butterworth, Mdantsane, Port Elizabeth, Mthatha (Umtata), Aliwal North and Cradock.

First launched in 1981, programmes are made up of 80% music and 20% talk. Speaking to today`s youth and tomorrow`s adults, CKI FM is a station with vibrant programming keeping pace with the times. While carrying news, information, sport, hip-hop, R&B and kwaito they also cover areas of health and fitness.
